Key responsibilities
In this new exciting position, you will lead the creation of our in-house finance function, ensuring financial stability, legal compliance, and the achievement of our ambitious social and financial goals. You will drive financial excellence by leading the development of our annual budget build, provide the ABA Board and executive with visibility of financial performance through rigorous and effective reporting and manage the annual external audit. Additionally, you will oversee essential financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring seamless processes across the Association. Full and effective handover will be provided by the existing team.

What you'll bring

- Qualified Certified Practicing Accountant / Chartered Accountant

This part-time role (20 hours per week) has been classified as SCHADS Level 7, $115,065 p.a pro rata excluding superannuation. As an employee of a charity holding DGR status, you are able to salary package up to $18,550 each Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year.
