Western Sydney University (WSU) is a world-class university with a reputation for academic excellence, impact-driven research and community engagement. We are globally focused, research-led and committed to making a positive impact on the communities we engage with. WSU employs approximately 3,400 staff and has a population of approximately 48,500 enrolled students. WSU became a BFW accredited workplace in 2019, with our institution committed to supporting students and staff who wish to breastfeed their children while they participate in study and work. We have a dedicated policy and a number of resources specifically related to breastfeeding. Our dedicated breastfeeding policy sets out the provision of breastfeeding facilities, requirements for lactation breaks and that flexible work options are available for breastfeeding employees returning to work.
