Do you have skills in maintaining financial records, bank accounts, paying petty cash claims and accounts? Would you like to support your local ABA group in this vital administrative role? Your local group would love to hear from you!
Key responsibilities
- Keep all financial records up to date.
- Maintain all bookkeeping procedures in accordance with ABA guidelines
- Maintain a file of all group financial records eg invoices, accounts, receipts, bank statements etc.
- Receive bank statements for the group account/s and perform bank reconciliations on a monthly
- Be responsible for paying all accounts received by the group
- In conjunction with the Group Leader, arrange for the annual audit of the group’s financial records and the 6-monthly financial statement

Requirements of the role
Essential
- Compliance with ABA’s Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Policy
- Current financial member of ABA
- Agreement in writing to abide by ABA’s Code of Ethics
- A basic understanding of the bookkeeping process
Skills and experience
