Your second and later pregnancies are a special time. You may feel more confident in your role as a mum and be looking forward to your family growing. You might also be worried about the physical demands of being pregnant with another child to look after and how your toddler is going to cope. Today we’re going to chat about how you can prepare your older child for the arrival of your newborn and strategies to introduce and involve them once your baby arrives.

Come and connect with other mums and find support and friendship, have a hot cuppa while someone cuddles your baby, or let your toddler run free with the other toddlers.

We welcome all mothers, fathers, children, pregnant women and family members. You do not have to be breastfeeding to attend. We all know that babies can be unpredictable, so we understand if you are running late and welcome you all the same!

If you are feeling up to it a plate to share for morning tea is always appreciated. Cake/fruit or biscuits works well but don’t feel you have to bring anything.

Breastfeeding can provide immunity against a range of illnesses, but if you or your child/ren have signs of illness, or you suspect that they may be ill, please consider keeping them at home.
