This month we welcome local Midwife Kirsty Crimmins as our Guest speaker to talk about the Mind, Body, Birth Connection.
Bring a plate to share, and your mum friends while we chat casually in a warm and friendly environment.
Kirsty is a mum of 2, a Nurse, Midwife, Calm Birth educator and an Acuneedling Practitioner.
Kirsty will talk about what happens in the body during birth and how you can best support this process, beginning with antenatal preparation. By understanding how your mind and body work together and preparing well, you can approach birth with confidence.
A woman’s emotional well-being leading up to and during birth can greatly influence how her body functions during birth. Anxiety, fear, and stress can negatively impact the birth process, while confidence and relaxation can enhance it.

ABA warmly welcomes expectant parents, mothers, fathers, support people and health professionals to all ABA events. You might be at any stage of parenthood, and don't need to be currently breastfeeding or pregnant.
Come as you are, even if that is in your pyjamas!
A Breastfeeding Counsellor or Educator will be available to offer breastfeeding support.
Each person is responsible for their own child/ren's safety, and we kindly ask that you do not attend if you or your child/ren are unwell.
