Ipswich Art Gallery has the Make it Slow program on at the moment and I thought it would be a great place for mummas, bubs and toddlers to meet up. We'll schedule it for the first week that school goes back on Wednesday from 10:15am - 11:45am. I'll wear my ABA shirt so that you can find me and will be upstairs in the Children's Gallery at the Ipswich Art Gallery.
The gallery has a travelling exhibition that is a huge bamboo frame (you can't climb it) and you can add your own bits of plaited or weaved art works. It looks very fun for touching textures and for crawling under. For slightly older kids there are also other weaving related craft activities on off.
Please come and let me know you are with ABA Ipswich so that I know who is with our group. I'll have my teal ABA shirt and name badge on.
