This community education course is designed for parents and carers of children under the age of five. The three hour session covers child and infant CPR and first aid for common childhood injuries. Please note this course does not provide a first aid qualification.

- Babies and children are very welcome to attend (we just ask if toddlers are being noisy that they are taken outside for a play). Partners, grandparents all welcome.
We will have indoor and outdoor toys available, and our adjoining garden is fully fenced and gated. Our volunteers will be present outside to supervise toddlers and any older children so parents are able to participate in the course even when their children wish to play outside.
Free drop-in breastfeeding help at every meetup, no booking needed
Gumnuts Family Centre venue has one disabled parking bay at the front, is all on one level with no steps/ramps and has an accessible toilet. The entry gate opens outwards and is quite high so if you need any assistance with prams or wheelchairs coming in, please phone Shona on 0428746620 on arrival.
