Breastfeeding mums clock up many, many hours of breastfeeding time. So it's important to be comfortable!

There are many positions which can be used to breastfeed a baby. Some may be particularly suited to comfort and rest, such as a side lying position, which is great for those night-time feeds when you'd like to be resting.

Other positions may be especially useful for breastfeeding on the go. Koala hold anyone? Or have you tried breastfeeding in a carrier?

Come and share what works well for you and get some ideas to use yourself!

Connect & Share sessions involve getting together to participate in a facilitated group chat on a particular topic. After a general welcome and introduction we will have around 15-20 minutes of formal discussion on the chosen topic, followed by informal social time and individual support with a breastfeeding counsellor. For attendees wanting to find out more on the topic, the facilitator will direct them to supporting ABA resources.

Participants are encouraged to share experiences, ask questions, and provide input.

This is a very relaxed meet up – it’s fine if you come late/leave early – we know what it’s like to be operating on baby time! Partners, expectant parents, friends, and children are welcome.
