You and your baby have made it to a year of breastfeeding. Congratulations! It can be hard to imagine how feeding an older baby or toddler could work for your family - especially as many mums find that family and friends feel uncomfortable with the idea of breastfeeding beyond 12 months. However, breastfeeding continues to provide benefits to both you and your child. If you aren't ready to wean you don't have to! Bring all your questions and we will share some information and ideas about how to manage breastfeeding your older baby or toddler.

Our Connect & Share sessions involve getting together to participate in a facilitated group chat on a particular topic. After a general welcome and introduction we will have around 15-20 minutes of formal discussion on the chosen topic, followed by informal social time and individual support with a breastfeeding counsellor.

Participants are encouraged to share experiences, ask questions, and provide input.

We meet at The Clubhouse Moorooka, 76 Koala Road, Moorooka. A drink of choice is included from the on-site cafe, Bean on the Green. BYO picnic blanket.

This is a very relaxed catch up – it’s fine if you come late/leave early – we know what it’s like to be operating on baby time! Partners, expectant parents, friends, and children are welcome.

We look forward to seeing you there!
