Join us for a discussion on the ‘fourth trimester’ – that first 3 months of a baby’s life. It can be a very intense time where babies are adjusting to life on the outside. They like being held, cuddled, feeling the warmth of your body, hearing your heartbeat, being rocked and of course breastfeeding.
We can chat together about all of the ups and downs of life with a new baby and how you can meet your baby’s needs during this time while also balancing resting and looking after yourself as you recover from the birth.
As usual, there will be a Breastfeeding Counsellor present if you have any breastfeeding questions you'd like to discuss and, of course, it's a good opportunity to catch up with other parents in a breastfeeding supportive environment.
This is a very relaxed meet up – it’s fine if you come late/leave early – we know what it’s like to be operating on baby time! Partners, expectant parents, friends, and children are welcome.
