Join your ABA Local Group team!
Would you like to support ABA in promoting our organisation, the services we offer and the support we provide? Are you interested in planning or attending events such as baby expos, fundraising events and local fairs or in distributing materials to healthcare facilities, midwives, obstetricians and paediatricians? Your ABA Local Group is looking for someone who can support the group leader to share all about ABA in your local community.
Key responsibilities
- General promotion of ABA, the services, events and activities
- Organising fundraising events, attending baby expos and local fairs
- Plus a range of other activities as noted within the role description

Requirements of the role
Essential
- Current financial member of ABA
- Agree to abide by ABA’s Code of Ethics and policies
- Compliance with ABA Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements
- Undertake the relevant induction module for this role
Skills and experience
One or more of the following:
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, organisations and colleagues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Stakeholder engagement and/or or public relations experience
