Administration and Operations Manager

 


This new part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) as we continue to educate towards, and advocate for, a breastfeeding inclusive society.

Key responsibilities

As the Administration and Operations Manager for the National Support Office, you will manage operational aspects as well as administrative tasks of the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) and report to the Senior Manager Finance and Operations.  Office Management includes facilities management, stock management, human resources assistance, project management, championing work health and safety, and administrative duties.  This role will provide you with the opportunity to play to your strengths and bring initiatives to improve the overall operations of the National Support Office and ABA nationally.

What you will bring

  • Strong understanding of office management procedures and systems

  • Experience in managing external service providers including contract management

  • Demonstrated exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage projects

  • Knowledge of HR policies and practices, including WHS initiatives

  • Experience managing risk management systems and IT needs

  • Creativity, initiative, and excitement about the opportunity to support more of Australia’s parents on their breastfeeding and parenting journeys

This role has been classified as SCHADS Level 4,  $84,500 per year pro-rata. As an employee of a registered charity, you are able to salary package up to $18,550 each Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year.
