This year's World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) theme 'Enabling breastfeeding - making a difference for working parents', highlights the importance of breastfeeding-friendly environments for parents who are navigating their transition back to work. This theme also considers the role of paid leave and other workplace supports in ensuring women have the support they need to continue breastfeeding once they return to work.

Plans to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week 2023 on a national level will include three exciting events:

• A special, FREE online Connect & Share session on 'Combining work and breastfeeding' on Tuesday 1 August. Register Here

• A 'Supporting breastfeeding families' live panel webinar event for early childhood educators on Thursday 3 August from 12-12.30pm and repeated from 1-1.30pm. Register Here
